After what seemed like a month of rain, a break in the weather was able to see the Cup final proceed as scheduled with Swalwell Cricket ground as the venue.
West End won the toss and elected to field. Having been put into bat, Rowlands CA thus set about posting a respectable total, and settled on 246-4 off 30 eight ball overs.
After tea West End found the going tough and were all out for 30 runs. Whilst this was a convincing win for Rowlands CA, all agreed this was a good spirited game and was appreciated by both sides.
Man of the Match (Phil Wisbach Shield) was Tim Stonock who hit 5 fours and 6 sixes in his 89.
