NB! The Minutes have been corrected to state that the Merz & McLellan Cup will be held at Swalwell and details for Stonebridge have been updated.
The meeting was well attended. The Fixtures Booklets, Score Cards and Team Cards were distributed using splendid folders provided by new sponsor Just Sport.
Please ensure the Score Cards are correctly filled in this year with innings details kept together on the same side of the card (see Fixtures Booklets for further clarification!). All Clubs, particularly those playing in the League for the first time, are recommended to study the information available. Modifications to the League Laws and Guidance Notes have been made in accordance with the recommendations of the AGM (NB batting points awarded now for 6 and 8 runs per over).
The first fixture is the Merz & McLellan Cup at Swalwell CC, 1:30pm on 25th April. The President's XI take on 2009 League Champions Beamish & East Stanley. Spectators are encouraged to attend. Enjoy the season!

Report of Meeting Held on Friday 4th September 2009
The Meeting was held at Blue Flames Sporting Club and attended by the Secretary, Don Catley; Alec Dodds, Tony Glover, Angela Hughes, Rob Kenmir, John Reed, Chris Roberts and Peter Woodley of the Management Committee together with representatives from thirty one League Clubs and two clubs applying to join the league. There was also a background of supporting members and our associates awaiting the Presentations and buffet.
