Macmillan Cancer Care 6-a-side Results

(Posted On Sun 19 July, 2009)

Macmillan Cancer Care organised a very successful one day event at Blagdon Hall on Sunday which attracted many thousands of visitors and included a 6-a-side cricket tournament.

This was won by YAARS and the trophy donated by John Pack was presented to the winning skipper Mark Little by Andrea Gray.

Special mention goes to 16 year old Basit Ali who took the most wickets on the day, six, including three wickets in an over, just missing out on a hat-trick.

Unfortunately several other teams did not keep up their promise to participate.

Full score details prepared by Bobby Vedhara of YAARS who did a magnificent job with all the scoring.
