For the second time this season the individual score record has been broken. Arsalan Rahim has hit 205 not out in a 14 off 8 ball overs league fixture at Stocksfield. This included 20 sixes and 15 fours. Oceans of Division Five 244-2 with K Javid 18, Sonu 14, Beverly 3-0-31-1, Wade 3-0-47-1 beat Stocksfield Wanderers 146-6 (14)M Skoyles 35, Gulam Arif 4-0-26-2, B Aziz 3-0-29-1. Fantastic!
M Saqib “Haji” of YAARS hangs on to his early June record of 22 sixes in his 192* and the league innings record remains at 246-5 by Newcastle City Vs Blyth in July 1995. Records go back to 1972.

Messages from Ian Wardle: Durham County Cricket Club would like to invite you all to attend the under 13 Bowl-Out Cup on Wednesday 24th June at Durham Dynamos home Twenty20 Cup match with Yorkshire Carnegie. This should be a great opportunity for young players, giving them the opportunity to see international cricketers in action such as Michael Vaughan, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, David Warner, Graham Onions, Phil Mustard and Steve Harmison. The attendants will also compete in a “Bowl-Out” competition on the pitch before the game and meet Durham CCC players. The winning team will win a trophy, certificates and other goodies. The teams that enter the competition will receive complementary tickets for the players and two accompanying coaches. In addition to this the club has the opportunity to purchase reduced price tickets for this fixture. The competition is open to any under 13 school or cricket club. For further information and to enter your team see the attached file, and simply complete the entry form. See www.durhamccc.co.uk.
