A very tight win against the Aletasters secured our 2nd division status for next year. This closely fought relegation battle was won when Nick hit two fours in the last over. A good all round team performance helped achieve this hard-worked victory.

Wonderful day at Eglingham, capped by a swashbuckling innings from Canadian novice Doug Ellacott. An event where the result is not as important as the occasion, but a win always adds to the satisfaction!

An awseome team performance started on a flier as the first wicket fell on 78 after 7 overs. The momentum was maintained as we raced to our highest total of the season - 161 for 3 off 16 overs. Aggressive bowling and tight fielding resulted in a well deserved 40 run victory. Very well done to one-and-all!!

JB finishes with a five-for as Sage succomb to his craftily-flighted balls. The only man known to celebrate a wicket before the ball has had time to hit the stumps, JB was awarded the man-of-the-match for his career best figures. Well done, John!!

Good performance last night saw us grab our second league win of the season - and not before time! Trvor and Andy Bittan excelled with bat and ball. Well done Lads!
