This week I’ve joined a cricket club called Bentleigh CC. They have 4 teams playing grade cricket so hopefully I might get a game in one of them. I went to my first practice last night and it was canny impressive, it reminded me of my days at football training!! We started off with a lap around the oval and then some stretches..................

The cricket club is sad to announce that John Evans and Darren Bolton have resigned as captain and manager.
The club wishes them well and hopes to see them next season in a playing capacity.
Running the club is a thankless task, and these two stalwarts have done so for the last four years. That time has seen its fair share of ups and downs, however, one constant has been their enthusiasm, effort and dedication.
The club may have disappeared forever without their efforts.
We hope to see them next year as players, as their cricketing nous, defiant batting and hostile wicket taking is required.
