Match Duration
Although the duration of a game is flexible and dependent on the conditions around 6pm, teams should try to agree to play 16 overs games wherever possible. Given a prompt start and the length of nights, games should be completed by 8.30pm - well within any bad light issues. If teams can not agree the number of overs then the home team have the final say.
Arranging Fixtures; Postponements
Despite some improvement to the weather (?!) some games have not taken place owing to poor communications. All games must be confirmed, even when the home night is a fixed one. It is most important that voice to voice contact is achieved and the fixtures are confirmed by the
Monday preceding the week of the scheduled fixture. Leaving a message by voicemail or email is OK so long as the receiver returns the message to confirm acceptance. Postponements should strictly only be because of an unfit ground.
Fines Summary
Non-attendance at the April Meeting: now £10 fines owed by GEM, East Sleekburn.Conceding Cup games: £5: CCC, East Sleekburn and Merz & McLellan. Conceding a League fixture: £5 Adders.
NB! All fees & fines are subject to an increase of £5 for each month they are not paid.
