CCC found themselves just a little too under par in all departments as Coquet completed the double over them at Wallsend last night.
Having won with a last ball six two weeks ago Coquet won the toss and opted to bat first on a cloudy evening.
CCC bowled and fielded relatively well but Coquet have some big hitting batsmen who punished anything short or over pitched with efficiency. They set a total of 138-6 from 16 overs.
CCC found themselves batting in darker conditions, which with the lack of sight screens, was a serious hindrance. Three quick wickets were lost so that they were always behind the rate. Simon E and Matt put on 80 for the fourth wicket but in the end the ask was too great and the visitors ended on 122-5
