NO MORE ENGLAND TRAINING SESSIONS - FRENCH
CCC produced an embarrassing batting performance last night just hours after watching a "England Batting Masterclass" video.
Having restricted Genetics to 117-6 after 15 overs, with a very good all round bowling and fielding display, CCC had felt they were in with a chance. However, the batting was ripped apart through tight quick bowling and poor shot selection. The final total of 55 all out included the last five batsmen being dismissed for nought.
"That's the last time we'll be using England coaching tools," said CCC Director of Cricket and Money Roger French. "Although to be fair our lads are now experts in poor shot selection, playing down the wrong line and failure of application. That's all very nice, but not when you're staring at the trapdoor of relegation."
CCC now have four games left, and will probably need to win two of them to have a chance of staying up.
