Sonu looking forward to season ahead

Sonu Pathak has spoken ahead of the upcoming season and believes hard work and motivation is key for success.

Sonu,'I'm really looking forward to captaining the team this year and we have a great bunch of lads here old and new so it will be a great challenge to integrate everyone and play together and fight til the very end in every match. We have worked very hard in the nets and hope they will reap their rewards. It will be my first year as captain but I have had experience before back home in India so that should stand me in good stead.

Sonu later spoke about the strength of the division two and challenges it brings. 'Yeah definitely it will be very competitive and there are some tremendous teams in there. I think each game will bring a different challenge so we will look no further then our first friendly game which is fast upon us. We want to use them wisely to prepare for our opening league game. I do think we have nothing to fear this year because we have some dangerous players too in our lineup so we are just looking forward to it and will take it a game at a time.
