RCA sneak into Final

RCA edged past ORP into the final of the cup. ORP struggled to 84 all out with a fine opening spell from Guy Saxton 4-1-8-3 & Andy Horner 4-1-21-3 keeping them in check. Some decent late order hitting took them to their total which was competetive on a slow drying surfact at Tynemouth. RCA started well but lost two wickets in two balls and then a 3rd soon after. At 37/3 RCA where glad to be only chasing 84. Graeme Redpath (17) & Alan Hynd (10) game the innings stability but after losing both quickly RCA stumbled across the line with 3 wickets in hand and 10 balls left. RCA now face either Kirkwood or Civil Service in the final.
