Rowlands batted first with the Hynd generations leading the way. Alan started well but dragged on Quigley for 8. Matt kept going right through the innings for his 51 not out which included two fours. Roy exploded at the crease with six fours in a speedy 33 before being adjudjed lbw to Condon. Graeme was over-enthusiastic to hit Tony Glover into the golf course and got himself well stumped for 8 (one four); Ian Ross was caught for 5 and Aiders bowled by Glover for 2. Jarrod made a helpful 6 not out in the last over. With 25 extras Rowlands recorded 138-5 in their 16 overs. Tony Glover impressed with 4-0-19-2 and Mike Condon bowled accurately for his 4-0-26-2.

The ten man ORP reply was very much overSaxed. Guy claimed six wickets for three runs in 3.6 overs, one of which was a maiden! Graeme took a stunning catch at backward point to start the ball rolling, then Guy need no help or guidance to bowl out his next 5 nervous victims at top pace: 3.6-1-3-6!

Jarrod also bowled well after conceding seven runs in his first over, followed up with a double wicket maiden and his 3-1-8-3 (all bowled) denied our Guy Jim Laker proportions of wickets!

Eddie, Dave and Don were also denied their opportunity to join in the fun but the whole team congratulated the two strike bowlers on their achievement!
