Today at Heaton Medicals with wickets pitched at 1pm.
After a dull morning, High Stables posted 101-3 off the agreed 14 overs and Civils won in the final over by 4 wickets. Details to follow.
John Peacock and Michael Edmonds umpired. John praised both teams for a good, sporting final and presented the Paddlers Plate to Civils Skipper Shraven Nallagoni.

Kirkwood won a close fought 10 overs game last night (Wednesday) with GEMS to retain the Just Sport Cup.
Details and a photograph can be downloaded.
The Paddlers Plate Final will be held on Sunday 6th September between Civil Service and High Stables.

Finals are now being arranged by the teams:
Just Sport Cup Kirkwood V GEMS Wednesday 26th August with an attempted 5:30 start.
Paddlers Plate Civil Service V High Stables Sunday 6 September, venue and time to be confirmed.
Please also report any friendly games or comments on this strange season.
Brilliant that some mid-week cricket has been possible, despite the usual problems also with the weather!
