This morning, with regret, Michael Hughes and I received the resignation of Division 1 team NE United.
They have been frustrated with fixture rearrangements and also find themselves a few players short for easy selections. Their players will continue with only their Saturday games for other clubs. NE United are thanked for good support over several seasons as they climbed up through the divisions and have been wished well in the future.
NB player transfers for all clubs must be completed in play-cricket and made effective by the deadline of June 30th. This includes former NE United players.
The record of NE United has been expunged and the revised table is attached.
Shaz will update play-cricket and cancel the remaining fixtures for NE United.
