Enthusiasm is building after the mid-season start! Four more results are in and quite a few friendlies are being arranged, especially as teams are being eliminated from Cup and Plate. Please report on the friendlies and details will be published in the Newsletters.
Reports are usually in the Chronicle on a Wednesday.

Six of the twelve ties have been played and reported; Blue Flames play High Stables at Beamish tonight. Due to rain on Wednesday and Thursday progress has been limited and the next round ties potentially delayed. This gives opportunity in the interim for teams to arrange friendly fixtures, especially where a ground has already been booked.
Please report further results soonest to donc@blueyonder.co.uk
Be sure to follow the guidelines with care and attention.

Five of the ties have been reported so far this week. Eyes are on the weather for tonight with four ties scheduled.
Please keep donc@blueyonder.co.uk and your next opponents informed of results and delays so that possible ties next week can be quickly confirmed. Otherwise, use could be made of ground bookings to arrange friendlies.
In both Cup and Plate two teams will have byes to the semi-finals. It is suggested that, rather than having a blank week, they arrange to play each other to be credited with the Bill Valance Cup and the Bob Howe Shield respectively.

The days this week for the ties are attached.
Both home and away team players and officials should arrive at the ground ready changed for the game and be sure to have individual hand sanitiser which ideally fits into a pocket.
Other highlighted interpretations of the Guidelines have been given in the Newsletter.
The home teams for next week can already be seen from the draw for both the Cup and the Plate so grounds can be arranged.
One team in each of the Cup and the Plate will have a *bye in the semi-finals and can play each other to be credited with the Bill Valance Cup.
Enjoy some friendly cricket!

Please download the first Newsletter of the season for your careful reading, along with the Guidelines with which we should all be familiarising.
The evenings for the first ties to be played next week should have already been confirmed. Teams who can expect to be at home for either the second round of the cup or the first round of the plate should now be securing a ground for the following week.
