The Handbooks and Scorecards are ready for the meeting next Tuesday 9th April. The weather too is playing its part!!

"Belmont CC are looking for players to play in our Saturday league teams. If anyone is interested, we have 2 net sessions left, at the Riverside nets on Sundays 07/04 and 14/04, from 12.00 to 1.00pm. Please e-mail Tony if interested and anybody is welcome to come along.
We’ve lost a few regulars this season. Thank you."

Calling Notice for April Meeting

The next full meeting of the League will be held at Blue Flames SC AMBLE SUITE on Tuesday 9th April from 7:30pm.

Handbooks and scorecards will be issued and the draw made for the Just Sport Cup.

The Handbooks have been printed using the attached Club Particulars information. Clubs should recheck for any changes to be made known as amendments at the meeting.

Please also ensure your club basic contact information is correct on the website. To open a club account please contact john.reed@blueyonder.co.uk.

Minutes of the AGM

Most clubs have sent in their confirmation that contacts may be used; would the remaining clubs please not fail to do this.

Reminder:
Subsequent to the AGM, the MC have become aware that the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) require the League to ensure that all individuals whose names and contact details are being included in the handbook, must have given informed consent. Thus every club must ensure and confirm to the MC that all those individuals included in their submission to the League are:
• aware their names and contact details have been supplied to the League;
• have agreed for the information to be included in the League’s openly available information.

We can now welcome Bomarsund in to the League (proposed by Whitley Bay and seconded by both Bates Cottages and Sparta) as more than a majority of clubs have voted with none against.

The League fixtures are now finalised and the draw for the Just Sport Cup will be made at the next League meeting on April 9th for which a calling notice will be issued.

League Fixtures - Vacancy now taken by Bomarsund CC

The League fixtures were agreed at the AGM last night and may be downloaded. A summary of grounds and preferred home nights is also available.

The Main and Matfen Hall have resigned and Whitley Bay are promoted to Division 2. The Eagles (Ijaz Khan) were elected to Division 3 of 12 teams.

There is a VACANCY for one more team in Div 3. If this is not filled then three of the twelve teams will have two blank weeks. It is proposed to then redress the balance by, at the April Meeting, drawing two of these teams from the 'hat' to play one additional fixture, The third team would then have points for the missing fixture equal to their average gain (rounded up) credited to their total.

The meeting was well attended and minutes with updated circulation of emails will follow soonest.

Agenda for AGM

The meeting will be held at Blue Flames SC, Benton on Thursday 7th February, 7:30pm start time.

Please note that the meeting will be held in the AMBER Suite. This is downstairs in the Southern building towards the field, NOT MAIN RECEPTION.

A bar will be on and there will be a free cold buffet, more than sufficient for all attending!

Registration Forms and fees of £50 should be supplied before or at the meeting. Fees increase to £60 if paid later in February.

The Management Committee wish all clubs and our supporters a happy, healthy and enjoyable 2019.

Matfen Hall have resigned and assurances are awaited from The Main. A team called the Eagles are applying to join.
