This evening we have received the shock resignation from the League of Felling CC with immediate effect. This is a decision that has been forced on the secretary Barry Norman as a result of loss of a significant group of available players who work shifts.
Sadly this means that the league record for matches with Felling this season will be expunged and there are now gaps in the fixtures list for teams in Division 3.
Felling have been thanked for their time in the League.

It is with great sadness that the League have learned of the passing of these two lovely young people who are now confirmed as victims of the Manchester atrocity.
Sympathies are extended to the families and friends closest to them, Liam aged only 19 and Chloe 17 who were dedicated to each other.
Liam was first team wicket keeper and a promising batsman at Marsden CC and only a few weeks ago had lost his father Andrew after a battle with cancer. Andrew was also a key member of the Marsden club.
Marsden have naturally cancelled their upcoming fixtures as a mark of respect and our thoughts are with the whole club at this sad time.
The tragedy of Manchester is thus closer to home for all of us and it would be appropriate if all clubs consider taking a suitable moment to pause for thought before starting their next game.
Sympathies and deepest thoughts to all concerned.
Don and the Management Committee.
