Firstly we welcome the application from Ashington CC to join Division 5! Together with the application from North Star, this completes the fixtures for Div 5, subject to formal election at the next League meeting on April 9th.
The League also has a new sponsor and I can personally recommend the efficient work of Billy Corbett should you require modernisation, extension or upgrade to your property! Please support all of our sponsors.
Thirdly, Stephen Davison of the NCB invites your participation in a soft cricket ball indoor event on March 19th.

These are now the fixtures based on the key previously supplied. Applicants North Star will play at Bates Cottages and it is hoped to have a final applicant to fill the remaining vacancy in Division 5.
Reminder that each club should have a fully qualified Welfare Officer in place for the season. See the Northumberland Cricket Board Ltd website for details of courses at Cramlington this month.

DCB and NCB have announced a joint event at the Riverside on Sunday March 9th. See attachment.

A few outstanding NEMWCL registration forms and fees are awaited by the end of the month at the latest so that fixtures can be confirmed.

Unfortunately, Boldon CC have decided not to further their application to join the League. However we have a new applicant, North Star comprising players from the large Blue Flames squad who will formally apply at the April meeting. Division 5 will run with 5 or 6 teams allowing currently one vacancy to be applied for.
The fixtures key has been further amended. Some outstanding fees must be settled by February 28th.
