President Malcolm Kennedy Awarded an OSCA

Our well deserving League President, Malcolm Kennedy has been awarded a Northumberland OSCA in recognition of his many years of service to cricket. Malcolm won the award for ‘Leagues & Boards’ which is an award that is aimed at dedication and results in the quality and quantity of participation in all areas of cricket. Congratulations go to Malcolm who has been a leading light in the League since the end of the 1960s as a player, umpire and league official.

Malcolm will be invited to attend the national awards at Lords following the end of the season.

Abandoned on 19th August at Swalwell. GEM 31-2 from 5 overs (of 25 off 8 ball overs) V Kirkwood then the rain came!
