Genetics lost a disappointing match against TWFB/Kibblesworth in the quarter final of the cup. Batting first, Genetics struggled against the opposition bowling, and only Andrew Porteous made a half decent score with 29, the final score for Genetics being 84 for 8 off 14 overs. This was never going to be enough and the opposition reached the total with an over to spare. Chris Mee once again added to his wicket tally with another 2 scalps.
