Kings School Old Boys gave the Genetics team a lesson in batting as they amassed a score of 243 for 4 in their 40 overs. In reply, Genetics at least put up a bit of a fight with Phil Dean making 42, Gez Greenwood making 33, Andrew Porteous 31, Mike Gardner 20, and Davy Heslop (29) and Gary van Doorn (13) sharing in an unbroken 9 wicket stand of 53.
