Gamble Pays off with Promotion

With the fixtures piling up the Eagles took a chance on Thursday 18th by attempting to field two sides on the same night against FHCC and Civil Service.

With a win gaining 8 points in the extra fixture and 2 points from a defeat the Eagles gained enough points to clinch promotion to Division 3 when weather and other results in the final week went our way as we ended up the only side in the top 3 to complete their fixtures.

Thank You to the 22 who turned out on the Thursday night and the 42 to represent the Eagles in 2011.
