Club Particulars and Cup Draw

The Handbooks will go to the printers on Monday. Please do a final check of team and ground details.

Four teams have declared they will not enter the cup: Genetics, Mitford, NE United and USCC. This means that 28 teams are entering. Any changes to the list must be stated TODAY.

Rather than making the draw at the Handbooks meeting, the MC have decided to generate the cup draw OVER THIS WEEKEND using the randomness of a facility within play-cricket. This will be in time for including the draw in the Handbooks and allow earlier notification for arranging grounds. There will be no seeding of teams in the draw.

Following the first round of ties, a fresh and also random draw for the first round of the plate for KOd teams will then be made. This means there will be 4 byes in the first rounds of both competitions as 4 teams have decided to not enter. As a consequence, four teams who have byes in the cup will not have the opportunity to enter the plate..
