Akeel Ahmed
The complete all-rounder in the side. Has big potential and proved it by finishing the 2006 season as the leading wicket-taker for the club. He is one of the best fielders in the side and has often taken absolute blinders in the field (a la Jonty Rhodes).
One of the players that can Influence a game on any given day!

Aman Dhinja
An economical left-arm orthodox spinner. Varies his pace well and is a wicket taking bowler. Made his midweek debut for GEM in 2009 and had many batsman in a spin!

 |
Ayaz Akram
An experienced member of the side. A midle order batsman. Once he gets his eye in, he can make runs at will.

 |
Faizaan Ahmed (Captain)
A solid and stylish left handed opening batsman who had a blinder in his début season (2007) scoring 247 runs and he followed it up by scoring 212 runs in 2008!
Will be captaining the side for the 2009 season and GEM will be looking @ Faizy to keep the runs flowing.

Hasan Babaja

Ibrahim Syed
Ibrahim joind GEM in 2007 season. Easily the most laid back member of the team, who has often been caught texting on the field of play! A left handed pinch hitter and a handy spinner who will be looking to prove himself with both bat and bowl.

| |
|
 |
Iftikhar Hussain
A genuine swing bowler who has often led the attack for GEM. Has been playing the game for a while and always gives 100% to the team. GEM saw glimpses of his best last year (2008), when he took a 5 for! Always tends to make a breakthrough when you badly need it and GEM will be relying on him to deliver more of the same this season and beyond.

 |
Kamran Khan
The premier pacer in the side and one of the best bowlers in the league.
He has often given man of the match performances and has received praise from the opposition for his fierce bowling.
F-16 as he is fondly known to his team mates, bowls at a ferocious pace and tends to trouble a lot of batsman.
A magnificent talent who should use more of his brain to really hurt the opposition.
GEM will be hoping F-16 will add more wickets to his column as they don't reveal his true potential. A shorter run up would be the answer but you try telling the lad!

Kamran Mansoor
The premier batsman in the side. A terrific talent and a gifted hitter of the ball. Smashed a few 6's on his way to a well deserved 50 on his midweek debut for GEM in the 1st round of the League cup (2009).
Kamran scored a staggering 642 runs in the 2009 season and has single-handedly won GEM a lot of matches.
He capped off a fine season by winning the man of the match award for his winning contribution in GEM's triump in the 2009 league cup.

Right arm off spinner and a handy batsman joining GEM in the 2009 season. Has made a great impact with the ball already in not so many games.

|
 |
Mohsin Khan
A very technically correct opening batsman joining GEM in the 2009 season. Tends to build his innings very well by piercing the field and finding gaps. Is very vocal out 'in the middle' and is never shy to speak his mind.

Mustajab Hussain (Bob)
A brutal player to say the least. He is a very daunting figure at the crease and the sheer size of this individual would put anybody of there game. However last season he showed his true brutality by blasting some quick fire scores which proved the difference in so many occasions. He had a very good season with the bat and is up there with the Afridi's and Gilchrist's when it comes to sheer entertainment. He will be hoping to again have a similar effect this year and will help the middle order greatly with his vast experience.

Nasar Ahmed Hussain
A very good 2006 & 2007 season with the bat by 'Boom Boom Nasar' which included plenty of big blows that shows his real hard hitting prowess. He was without doubt one of only a few players that really got any runs under pressure situations and is a really great fighter for the team. He motivates the boys to great extent and makes them believe in there own ability. A fantastic player he has been, he will be aiming to make another large contribution to the team this season & beyond.

Nasser Iqbal
The 'Murali' of the team (so he thinks??). He bowls a beautiful 'googly' and turns the ball a mile even on a placid track (apparently??). Very experienced player and moves like a skoda on the field and hands the size of a sledge hammer you would think he could catch anything but you would be dead wrong, but sometimes tends to get into the mould of test match cricket. Overall can bat quite well but shame the same can't be said about his running. Best known to forget his own team members names (shocker??) and for his motivation "YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO?, GO AND DO IT" hahahahaha

A hard hitting all-rounder who leads the bowling attack with a perfect line 'n length and Is a stylish batsman. A product of Karachi street Cricket who has a craving for 6's!
