Seaton Burn CC History
From humble beginnings, or at least from a drunken conversation in the Traveller's Rest in Wideopen the Travellers were born.
Travellers began as the Traveller's Rest playing on the wind swept wilderness that was the second square at Darsley Park. After a brief spell at the beach of Bullocksteads the Travellers set up home at Seaton Burn Cricket Club (or should that read the Moor House at Seaton burn).
Despite the usual coming and going of players the original core of cricketers/alcoholics remain.
2005 sees Travellers renamed as Seaton Burn CC looking forward to life in the fourth division.
