Seaton Burn CC

The Seaton Burn CC squad is made up of the following players.

No Picture Chris ' Haircut 100' Herron
Chris certainly looks the part as he marks his 30 yard run up. Opening batsmen quake in their boots as he is thrown the new ball, and then fall down laughing when he removes his cap to reveal 'that' hair cut!

No Picture Craig 'the midget' Maris
Measuring 9ft 11 inches Craig must be the tallest wicket keeper in the league. A useful big hitter at the end of the batting line up, Craig has the ability to progress well within the club.

No Picture Dan 'The Main Man' Farquhar
Life is tough for young Dan in the shadow of his dad the mercurial milkman. But Dan is showing true Farquhar batting qualities in his ability to occupy the crease.

No Picture Darren 'the Bulldog' Carr
As number elevens go, DC plays his part. His poor average of only 51.8 last season means that he will have to fight for his place next season. Perhaps his inclusion may be meritted by his morale-lifting winter goatee!

No Picture Don ''The Mercurial Milkman'' Farquhar
Don''s vicious bowling pace and aggressive batting technique, coupled with hands the size of baseball mitts ensure that he is a regular in the Travellers'' side

No Picture Ian 'Millitary Medium' Morrison
Moz's gentle medium pace has often had opposing batsmen reaching for chestprotectors helmets and occasionally step ladders! Hopefully 2005 will see the Mozman in action more frequently

No Picture Jason 'Nationwide' Brown
Jason's recent arrival in the squad has led to much mirth due to his support of the part-time footballers of mackemland. Fortunately his cricketing ability is not reflected in his team's footballing ability.

No Picture Malcolm 'the Duck' Alderson
When not opening the batting, keeping wicket, bowling his dodgy off-spin or umpiring, Mal can often be heard bemoaning the 'best ball of the match' which always precedes his return from the wicket, normally two balls after his arrival there.

No Picture Mark 'The Quiet Man' Morrison
Marky Mark deputises for senior Moz with the gloves when needed and adds the benefit of being able to see the ball to the old man's skills! MiniMiz's availability is limited due to his commitment to Her Majesty's Navy.

No Picture Phil 'Red Mist' Morrison
Phil's commitment to the team can not be questionned when during a match he shattered a bone in his hand and carried on keeping wicket. Rumour has it that he keeps wicket due to being unable to see the ball when fielding further from the wicket.

No Picture Ryan 'Not Out' Carr
Despite his tender years, young Mr.Carr warrants his place in the side with his fielding and recently his introduction to the bowling attack. His batting technique reflects his commitment to the team with his 'thou shalt not pass' attitude.
